Anuwat  Apimukmongkon

Born in 1995, Trang, Thailand, Anuwat is a graduating student from the Prince of Songkla University, Pattani campus, studying for a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts. Most of his works feature the form of Bang Lee, his best friend, who is homosexual, as a symbol for personal expression. His artwork represents the mythology of humankind in Thai society, based on his experiences and personal feelings. He uses many mediums to create his artwork, such as painting, sculpture, mixed media, performance art, and so on. Most artworks are layered with different concepts and are used to propose questions about the nation, religion, culture, politics, violence and the society he lives in.

อนุวัฒน์กำลังจบการศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์วิทยาเขตปัตตานี ในระดับปริญญาตรีในสาขาทัศนศิลป์ คณะศิลปกรรมสาสตร์ เขาใช้รูปทรงของบังลี (เพื่อนสนิทของเขาที่เป็นกระเทย)มาเป็นสัญลักษณ์ในการแสดงออก ซึ่งปรากฏอยู่ในผลงานเกือบทุกชิ้นของเขา เพื่อนำเสนอเรื่องของมายาคติของมนุษย์ที่มีอยู่ในสังคมไทย ผ่านประสบการณ์และความรู้สึกส่วนตัวของเขาเอง ผลงานศิลปะของเขาสร้างสรรค์ผ่านการใช้สื่อทางศิลปะที่หลากหลาย ทั้ง จิตรกรรม ประติมากรรม สื่อผสม วีดีโอ ศิลปะการแสดงสดและอื่นๆ ผลงานทั้งหมดจึงเต็มไปด้วยสัญญะทางความคิดและการตั้งคำถามเกี่ยวกับชาติ ศาสนา วัฒนธรรม การเมือง ความรุนแรง และสังคมที่เขาอาศัยอยู่
